Updates to the 11th Airborne Division's sponsorship and integration process
In late 2021, Maj. Gen. Brian Eifler determined that certain needs of our Soldiers and families were not being met. He directed the Arctic Angels to find solutions to issues that plague our troops. These are some of the major milestones achieved by the sponsorship and integration working group;

Maj. Gen. Eifler forms the 11th Airborne Division Integration Working Group to address challenges faced by servicemembers and their families when PCSing from the lower 48 states.
Jber MFC (Army Community Service) begins hosting 'Ask Me Anything' sessions for incoming families and personnel.
Fort Wainwright ACS holds Coffee and Conversation, a meetup at the Northern Lights Inn for spouses who weren't able to attend the day 1 briefing.
Reception detachments North and South create their own Facebook pages to directly address the needs of incoming Soldiers and families.
11th Airborne Division creates a new page for newcomers, to centralize points of contact, necessary links and info for incoming personnel.
AAFES and IMCOM work with 11th Airborne Division personnel to make updates to the Digital Garrison application, to make it more relevant to Arctic Angels on JBER.
JBER MFC holds JBER Essentials Mondays, hosted on Zoom. An alternate event for those family members unable to attend the Day 1 in-processing brief.
Reception detachment south holds BEAR day-Base engagement, activities and resource day.
